All sessions require a 35% non-refundable deposit to book. Deposit must be received 48hrs after booking to confirm your session. Payment will be accepted through email transfer.

I understand that life happens and if rescheduling needs to happen, please ensure to give 48hrs notice. I can transfer the deposit to secure another date and time that works best for you.

Photo sessions typically take place in an outdoor location of your choice but of course, can also be done in your home (especially for newborn photography). Anywhere outside of the 55km range from Edmonton will require an additional travel fee of $0.50 per kilometer. Please contact me directly to inquire about travel costs.

Local studios are available at an additional cost. We can discuss studio choice and price at the time of booking.

Sessions are approximately one hour. My suggested time for shooting is during sunrise or sunset for golden hour.

I describe my shooting style as more relaxed. I do provide direction, prompts, and poses with a mix of a natural connection between loved ones and family members.

My goal is to capture the unique way that each family interacts with each other.

For maternity sessions, I love to see vulnerability. Embracing skin-on-skin moments with your babes, capturing breastfeeding moments, and highlighting your growing bump are important to me. I love when dads join in as well.

Don’t stress about your children running around and wanting them to be in perfect order. Embrace the chaos. The moments I capture amongst the chaos are priceless and beautiful. Relax and have fun.

Style plays a big part in your session. Color choices, fabrics, and movement make a huge impact on how much you love your photos. To get the most out of your photos I recommend sticking with a palette of around 3 colors.

I recommend coordinating your family’s outfits but please do not be too matchy-matchy. Long maxi dresses and long skirts always photograph beautifully on women. Try to avoid big prints.

With how much you invest in your session with me, it is important to put a little effort into what you wear for your photos. This is why I’ve been adding pieces to my own client closet with a variety of dresses for you to choose from. Most of my pieces are bump-friendly and also fit a range of sizes. These are available to use at no extra cost. Please ask to see what I have at the time of booking. I want to ensure that you love your experience with me.

As a hairstylist, I offer styling for your shoot at an additional charge.
